Programming for adolescent girls

Just be Academy, Inc. was founded in February 2014 by three childhood friends. Crystal M. Burns, Felicia Hefney, and Tana McKelvey grew up together in Rock Hill, SC, and they wanted to develop programming to benefit adolescent girls. They incorporated the nonprofit in January 2015, and decided to dissolve the charity and nonprofit corporation in June 2019.
